COVERAGE
This limited ten (10) year product warranty is made by Mon-Ray, Inc. (hereafter called ‘Mon-Ray”), to the Customer (hereafter called “Owner”) purchasing Mon-Ray Window or Door Products manufactured by Mon-Ray directly from Mon-Ray, Inc., or an authorized Mon-Ray dealer, contractor or agent. This warranty is transferable to subsequent owners throughout the warranty period.

Mon-Ray warrants that each Mon-Ray window or door product will, for a period of ten years from the date of acceptance of the installed product, remain free of defects in workmanship and materials under conditions of normal use.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover any defect, malfunction or failure caused by damage (not resulting from defect or malfunction) while in the possession of the consumer, or unreasonable use (including failure to provide reasonable necessary maintenance).

This warranty does not cover materials not manufactured by Mon-Ray, that were purchased through Mon-Ray as a part of a complete window contract. Such items may include, but are not necessarily limited to, sheet glass, insulated glass, plastic glazing, insulated panels, caulking, storm door accessories including closer – latch – sweep – check chains screen cloth damaged by animals or insects, any painted product.

OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY
To maintain this warranty, the Owner must clean the units only with mild detergent solutions, clear water, and periodically vacuum the tracks and weather stripping.

ADJUSTMENTS AND WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS
LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. MON-RAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR PRODUCT OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS, EXPENSES OR DAMAGES INCURRED BY THE OWNER. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF THIS SALE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ABOVE TEN YEAR PERIOD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
To obtain warranty service, the Owner must contact the Warranty Service Department, Mon-Ray, Inc., 801 Boone Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55427, (763) 544-3646, or the authorized Mon-Ray dealer prior to the expiration of the warranty period, and advise the Mon-Ray representative of the conditions requiring service. This contract must be in writing within 30 days of discovery of defect, or warranty shall be deemed waived.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
